I come from a long line of strong women! My great great grandmother, Pearl Benner Hauck, raised three children as a single mother after her husband passed away. Then my grandmother, Pearl Louise, was a world traveler, real-estate investor, and garden enthusiast.

And then there is me, Megan Pearl.

Ever since I was young I have loved a good party! I remember going to the party supplies store when it was my sibling’s birthday and scouting out the options so, when it was my turn, I could pick the best themed paper plates for my party. When I was 10 years old I found out people would pay you money to plan events for them and that sounded like a dream!

In high school my mom signed me up for a “Fun Floral” class at Longwood Gardens. They gave a brief lesson and then set us loose to create our own arrangements, and as they say, the rest is history! Over the next 3 years, I completed their “Floral Design Course” and graduated with my Certificate in Floral Design in 2014. After High School, I went to the International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas for Conference Management and Event Planning.

As time went on I grew to love floral design more and more. There is something about working with cut flowers that have been grown especially for someone’s special day that is really cool! I have spent the past 10 years creating florals for weddings and events and it’s more than my 10 year old self could have ever dreamed!
